Managing our scheme

Home-Start Edinburgh West and South West is managed by a dedicated team of trustees who volunteer their time and expertise to oversee and give direction to the work that we do. We currently have a team of 9 trustees with a broad range of experience in the legal, financial and voluntary sector.

Why not download our Annual Report to see how our Home-Start trustees' experience and skills contribute to our support service for young families going through difficult times.

Our present team of trustees includes :-

Jess Wade has worked in the Scottish voluntary sector since 2004, when she graduated from the University of Edinburgh. She is currently Manager at Self Directed Support Scotland (SDSS), working with local, disabled people's Self Directed Support organisations throughout the country. She has previously worked in a range of roles in the sector, including fundraising, volunteering and campaigning and was appointed to the Board of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) in 2016. She has a Masters in Public Administration from the University of York and is a long time human rights activist. She lives in Slateford with her husband, two young children and their cat.
