Parenting Resources

We are now providing a Parent Information Point for any parent who would like to find out information about parenting and local services.

If you are a parent or look after a child we can:

Direct you to parenting programmes and groups
Offer advice and support on looking after children from 0 -16 years
Provide information on local services and activities

Children enjoying messy play
We will be happy to share ideas about play opportunities through PlayTalkRead, Peep groups (Parents Early Education Partnership), Baby Massage and the Play@Home programme.

We have information about what's on in the local area as well as on a range of things affecting families such as mental health issues, lone parenting, disability, finance and childcare.

As well as information about Home-Start, we can provide details of other agencies who can offer more specialist advice and support if necessary.
